About me

I moved to Australia from the UK 25 years ago and am married with two children. I am currently studying my Master’s in Counselling at Tabor College and am very near to completion.

I am also a qualified Social Worker and have spent the past 20 years working in foster care as a Social Worker and Family Therapist. In my various roles I have worked with a range of complex and sensitive family dynamics as well as supporting parents with practical parenting strategies.

I have a passion for social work supervision/mentoring and provide counselling, supervision and group debrief sessions for professionals working in the child protection sector.

I am a warm and empathetic person who takes the time to listen and understand what is happening for you. I will support you by using a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to your specific needs.

Esther is incredibly compassionate, encouraging and perceptive. Her wise counsel has helped me to flourish in areas that I struggled to overcome when working with other therapists in the past. Truly, I am forever grateful for her healing presence and expertise in supporting me through my emotional and spiritual journey.

What I love the most about Esther is the way she is so warm, genuine, and authentic. Coming to counselling can be daunting, but even from our first session, Esther created a safe space for me to be able to freely share, process, and reflect on the things I brought forward in a way I never had before.

I have found that Esther is able to meet me exactly where I am at and I always leave feeling heard, understood, and cared for.
